About us
Vacuum drying from Aachen, since 1990
Our headquarters is in Aachen. Thanks to its technical university, the city is rightly regarded as an important technology region.
Since our re-founding in 1990, our focus has been on vacuum drying. We develop and manufacture vacuum drying cabinets and vacuum drying chambers, as cost-effective standard versions or to our customers' specifications.
History
Vacuum technology made in Aachen
ELEKTRO-WÄRME-AACHEN e. K. is an owner-managed manufacturer based in Aachen. The company's roots go back to the 1950s.
Development and production are in one hand.
We are firmly rooted in the region and well connected with local suppliers. Our proximity to RWTH Aachen and FH Aachen keeps us up to date in high technology, research and development.
- 1950s: Founding in Aachen as Elektro Wärme Witt GmbH
- 1990: Re-founded as ELEKTRO-WÄRME-AACHEN after the death of the former owner of the company
- Since then: Focus on vacuum drying
- Today: owner-managed by Mr. Adam Gruszka

Vacuum technology for demanding tasks
Our systems result from the interplay of several disciplines. The applications show which tasks we solve with them.

- Vacuum technology: vacuum-tight vessels, pump stations and condensation, tailored to your process
- Thermal engineering: Heating via shelves or jacket, suited to the product and batch
- Materials science: Selection and processing of stainless steel, Hastelloy® and special materials, TEFLON®-coated on request
- Process engineering: Drying, degassing, de-oiling, material separation and solvent extraction
- Explosion protection: Systems for extracting flammable solvents
- Control and safety technology: Control cabinet with controller and emergency stop
- Industry requirements: For example, GMP-compliant design for the pharmaceutical industry

Manufacturing and accompanying services
The focus is on the production of our systems. All other services are derived from this and accompany your project from the initial consultation to the handover.
- Manufacturing: Vacuum drying cabinets and vacuum drying chambers of our own manufacture in Aachen, as standard version or custom-made, in stainless steel, Hastelloy® and other materials as required
- Consulting: We clarify the task, product and boundary conditions with you and recommend the suitable system
- Design: We determine the system design, materials and equipment, including for special systems
- Engineering services: Design and construction according to your specifications, from the container to the control system
- Planning: Integrating the system into your production or laboratory
- Cost planning and monitoring: Calculation before project start and cost control during implementation
- Project management: a dedicated contact person who coordinates everything from the initial inquiry to the handover
